My daughter is my hero today.
I had rented a wheelchair to carry my friend from the hospital to a motel, and then after a week the chair facilitated getting him from our car to his house. He sat in it three times. As soon as we finished the last move we returned the chair to the local rental business.
I had even paid for a month and we returned it twenty days early.
Someone from the rental business called me later, and in a manner that wasn't friendly accused me of taking parts off the chair. Clearly this wasn't true. I have no use for random wheelchair parts. I called and told them they were mistaken, but to no avail. I was waiting for a bill I didn't deserve because I had no proof either way.
My daughter decided to go talk to them in person this morning and in her calm and no nonsense manner told them to knock it off.
They listened to her.
