How do you meet new people if you don't allow them to comment on your posts? I often throw a "Hey, I like your blog" at folks when it is applicable. That's not SPAM, it's manners. Most people on social media don't have massive followings that get them spammed. Is the proposal to create a special class of accounts for users at a certain threshold?
