A new day. A new chance to succeed.
Extra early start on the day. Brain weasels weaseling. When that happens, I've learned not to fight them too much.
I still try to coax them back into the bag by giving them some little treats and perhaps a cuddle. They are me, after all. Inconvenient as they can be sometimes.
It's been a while since they've pulled this "wide awake in the dark" thing. Perhaps they just needed a wee romp.
I can hope.
