Oh for sure. It's called a FODMAP diet low in "FODMAP" — certain sugars that may cause intestinal distress. It is designed to help people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and/or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) figure out which foods are problematic and which foods reduce symptoms.

For me, I discovered that fermented foods, such as beer, messed me up. I was very fond of strong IPA beers. I cut these out, and my gut recovered in a few days. It sucks, but I'm sure you know how good it feels to not have the symptoms vs giving up a food or beer.
