I still have a lot to decide on for where to make my forever home, it's quite likely I'll self-host as the options become better, but I don't think the solutions available today are compelling and expect the ecosystem to take a few years to develop. I think time is the answer here, today I've used Fastmail as a replacement for Gmail for 10 years, but wouldn't have 15 years ago.",
