they are definitely not cheap. The production run is very small, these are very "hand crafted" and the glasswork is very intricate. Even in Canada (where Kruve is based) they are about $30 per glass.
I treat them with kids gloves because I too am worried about breaking them. But the drinking experience is amazing, and kind of revolutionary for espresso.
