Good idea, I usually delete all my raw images once a year, leaving me with just the ones I've converted to jpegs (edits, etc). That usually thins my library out by about 70%. My jpegs are grouped on import in Lightroom by location, date etc.
I do need to group my stuff by bird though, as its by location at present, maybe I'll do that. 😂
