Switching to fascism, is not something you can avoid though elections, the Dems aren't the ruling class they are just serving it, if the capitalist see no profit and incentive to the parliamentary dictatorship of their they will switch to the dictatorship that just doesn't lies. The only solution to end fascism is to overthrow the capitalist system that gives birth to it.
