It's really hard, in Germany, as the women are mostly wearing sexy-but-masculine clothes, so if you wear modest-but-feminine clothes, everyone is like 👀.
Like, wear a knee-length skirt and a cashmere sweater and people freak out because we're all supposed to be wearing clingy pant-suits.
My husband loves skirts and dresses, tho, so he complains if I just give up and walk around in skin-tight jeans and ugly T-shirts, to blend in.
