The wound was on the ear tip, and no amount of taping kept the wound from swelling with blood and re-“wounding” it. It got to the point where the vet said Luna might need to loose the tip of her ear to start with a clean incision! Fortunately it didn’t come to that. But do not take an ear wound lightly is the moral I learned. And like I said, I hope Bagel has better luck and heals up soon!
