What I love about this study is that it's not at all about AI, it's about how robust humans are when AIs *or any other automated systems* return wrong answers.
That kind of understanding is critical *even if* considering an application where ML methods work well and can be ethically developed. It's also robust to AI hype, in that it in no way relies on technical criticisms of LLMs.
