I don't care for jpegs at all, however.. the degens that want to trade them etc. Also want assurances about if I pay will I receive, they're experimenting with alot of new ways to handle psbts.. how to handle trustless auctions etc.

Stuff like that has real value. On chain smart contract execution ethereum style is a big mistake imo, opens up huge attack surface etc. However, some of the things that they were used to facilitate are / can be valuable. Trustless auction, trustless escrow.. methodologies off chain to execute contracts between people and have some assurances about how the money can move on chain. They're playing games and I'm not arguing that it isn't a casino, I'm saying you can learn alot in a game and use that knowledge much more broadly.
