#linux #ssh
Weird problem, suddenly couldn't access some of my VMs anymore via ssh.
(netcating to it, there was no SSH banner output)
Luckily, I have "VNC" access via proxmox. Turned out that ssh journal contained lots of messages like
fatal: Missing privilege separation directory: /run/sshd
and restating sshd made it work again.
WTF? What if this happens to a remote server where I don't have access via VNC?
