Issue #25: Use of Jailhouse Snitch
During the trial Judge Peter Cahill allowed a jailhouse snitch to testify against Mahdi.
He testified under oath that Mahdi Ali, “a complete stranger,” confessed to him about the Seward Market murders. Mahdi denied saying more than two words.
