If Edwards is tasked with overseeing an umbrella division of FSG that covers LFC and the Red Socks, by eay of a completely theoretical example, and possibly other FSG properties as part of a new team sports-specific subsidiary, I can see how Edwards could be attracted to the idea of a return, with it being nothing like "more of the same again". And piles and piles of cash on top, of course.
