There also have been other civilizations before ours which have vanished suddenly, often through natural/cosmic disasters of global scale.
Human civilization didn't just start 6000 years ago in the fertile crescent. There were others before and during the ice age.
World changing cataclysmic events are far more frequent and regular than most people are aware of or want to admit. And fewest of them are man made or even just influenced.

This current Kali Yuga will reach its inflection point in 2025. Shit's gonna get wild yo!
In the next few coming years, the world will change more rapidly and drastically than in the past few millennia. And a huge part of current humanity won't make it through those changes.
Which is an overall positive thing, seeing how wretched most people have become.

All i know is, if i have the choice between living in a decaying dystopian civilization under oppressive jewish rule or a civilization ending asteroid, i'll choose the asteroid every single time.
