Because I'm no expert in anything, but I don't think you need to be an expert to take at look at the state of geopolitics, national politics, the response to imminent environmental collapse, the event expanding power of the corporation, the rise of in the number of the unhoused et cetera, etc cetera
...to conclude that we are pretty well fucked. Not trying to be a doomy doom guy (come on) there just no way humanity survives the next 50 years with the numbers we have now.
