I don't get it either. Like, yeah, we are humans and we should keep the human aspect of art at its core but, you also have to be professional if you're taking commissions, and at the very least give estimate dates when asked and be communicative in general. It's better to say "I'm sorry it's gonna be delayed for X amount of time" than ghosting a client for months. People that act like that hurt everyone in the community and we should be vocal about it.
