Oh yeah, it's International Pronouns Day! (which always happens to be third Wednesday of October).
Pronouns are great, and allow you to refer and converse with people in the way they wish to be. It's the very polite/respectful thing to do and people are more engaged when you use them properly.
You might have seen a lot of folks on social platforms put their pronouns in their bios or their handles. You might even know these folks, and know that they identify using one of the gendered pronouns (male or female).
Well, the reason why many of us do it, is to normalize it for ALL folks!
So, even if you are firm in knowing how you identify, you show allyship with many people just by placing your pronouns in your bio. It says "I support people who need this".
