This morning, I continued my playthrough of the Resident Evil Remake and somehow ended up finishing the rest of it in one sitting. The RE1 Remake is... probably one of the best video games I've played in recent years. It takes everything great about the original RE1, improves upon it, adds a massive quantity of new features, and creates an experience that I can confidently declare to be the quintessential survival horror.
