One comment regarding the bitcoin bonds, as someone who works east of Ephel Dúath, the really interesting aspect would be the fact the government has never paid off a bond, only rolls them into ever larger nationals. Bitcoin bonds would be a way to accumulate bitcoin while taxing its buyers. The problem is there aren’t many suckers left, main buyer of US treasuries have been domestic ‘retail’.
