"content": "I met this dude today on the trail. I am not knowledgeable about the different types of salamanders, so I looked it up afterwards, and oh! Apparently the rough skinned newt of the PNW emits a powerful neurotoxin from its skin, enough to kill a person if it gets in their mouth or in a wound.
