After COVID vaccines came out, my aunt had to wait half a year before she coud get a straight answer about if the vaccines were safe for her. Doctors' lack of awareness of AGS basically means she has to check for herself about every new medication, in many ways. Luckily she's in the medical profession and has the knowledge/resources to do so.
