While I'm in this grumpy mood: All the folk being amazed that the xz bug was found because it introduced a 500ms delay to an SSH login as if that's a really short amount of time can fuck all the way off. At 120bpm, that's the difference between coming in on the one and coming in on the two.
Believe me, if you do that *everyone* is going to notice.
