Stupid question for the #ActivityPub crowd.
If I wanted to completely reinstall, e.g., a Mastodon (or similar) instance, on a domain that was previously used for a Fediverse server, that wouldn’t work, right?
Because other servers would reject its messages, right?
Because of the different public (and private) key? (I guess not, because shouldn’t you able to rotate those, in case they got leaked or whatever?)
Because of the Tombstone object they stored previously, then?
