I honestly feel like scientific researchers should engage in collective action in order to improve their remuneration & public control of their published material. I dropped out of college when i saw how poorly compensated i would be, and how the proceeds of patents would largely be stripped from me. Felt so wrong/ unjust.
Honestly, there's a lot of broad-based organizing needed at this critical juncture in history, before cybernetic systems of control disempower us even further.
