I did a #genealogy happy dance last night. I finally did enough descendants research to make sense of two DNA matches. Turns out these two people live and work in the same city that I do.
200 years ago our ancestors were brothers, living in the same village in Germany. The descendants came to the US in the 1850s and lived hundreds or thousands of miles apart. And here we are today in the same place. It gives me chills.
