Reuters: Canadian miner Gold Reserve bids for Citgo shares through its subsidiary Dalinar Energy
Canadian miner Gold Reserve said its Delaware subsidiary Dalinar Energy submitted a bid that could be chosen as the opening bid in a court-organized auction for shares of Venezuelan refinery parent Citgo Petroleum. A federal court in Delaware, which is handling the auction of Citgo's parent, PDV Holding, is expected to choose the bid as a “Trojan horse” bid, which is the starting point or minimum accepted bid. If elected, a finalization period for the court to receive rival bids will begin, with a final hearing on the sale scheduled for July, according to Gold Reserve.
