Set the BGP local_preference of your hosting provider to 120
Wonder: "Huh? Why is my other server preferring nearly all the routes to go over iBGP????"
*facepalm* So, apparently, the local_preference attribute is distributed in your own AS via iBGP (makes total sense!), and this can't be turned off (I could probably do some export filters, but that's not ... appropriate, I think).
