There is so much hate expressed between trans people and cis males that I despair. By expressing this exactly as you have - a genuinely nice cis guy interested in your life, others that you are unsure how supporting they are - is where I hope we are. The others have not shown antagonism. There is at least the hope that they won't. And you being yourself and not being closed because of fear. You are awesome.
