Hardware compatibility shouldn't be an issue. I switched a year ago and it's been fine after sorting out a few issues. If you do any online gaming, maybe keep windows 10 on a separate SSD for those since anticheat companies and linux don't like each other. I'll second the suggestion to use KDE as a desktop. I've loved it the whole time.",
