I don’t know and wish they could channel their affection in ways that better align with your values…
BUT I want to lovingly suggest this is a good problem to have. I imagine they mean well 🫂
It’s a touch pseudo science I also wonder if they have a different “love language” than you do? They might express affection through gifts whereas you all value different ways
