He carefully places his phone on the ground, and then dumps gasoline over himself, struggles with a lighter while the Israeli embassy guard yells at him, and lights himself on fire. His actions were calculated & clear-eyed. He really felt like he had no other choice. It’s after 5pm and the point he made that his Commander-in-Chief is not listening, has been made.
