The grid is failing because of regulation and price controls. What do you get when you have price controls? A well-connected single supplier, shortages and higher prices EVERY SINGLE TIME. I'm fine if you look at the EV critically, but not with an opinion you've been assigned because of some controlles opposition you think is in your tribe. The arguments against are obsolete. You are talking about EVs from 5 years ago. The free market and the ability of mankind to drive down prices and improve performance has not ever stopped. Don't act like it isn't there.
