We really have, as a society, made mental illness into simultaneously something super visible and super taboo. May nobody ever bring up what everyone already knows about you. However today I did witness someone from my parents' gen go absolutely wild and calling out someone's behavior in spite of their mental illness and it was almost a cultural shock
