that’s bc ppl who use laundromats traditionally inhabit the lowest two rungs on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Pyramid and are more concerned w/keeping food in their stomachs & a roof over their heads than whatever Machiavellian Kabuki theatre the politicians/their owners are doing. If change is to come, it must be from the relatively stable Middle.
