Dave on Nostr: When it comes to multi-monitor support, power management and stability, USB-c docks ...
When it comes to multi-monitor support, power management and stability, USB-c docks are steaming piles of garbage. Every model. Every vendor. No exceptions. They are all just so horrible.
The transition from per-vendor, proprietary dock connectors to USB-C provided one single benefit: a unified connector. But, what good is that if the actual dock doesn't do it's job?
I'd love to go back to the old days. Give me 20 different connectors please, as long as the stuff actually works.
