and this which may be a dying mushroom (though I doubt it there were several across the forest, they had no stem then turned into the snot looking substance .I suspect maybe a slime mould ,possibly introduced on the non native trees like the Hydonata cubispora most like was .My techincal term is Barbie brains that turned to Barbie snot that rested on moss with no stem visible .I also couldnt collect a sample because they disintigrated much like slime moulds do
