I'm not like the hugest fan of Family Guy but I will say that it has exposed me to all kinds of good culture. The magicomedy of Art Metrano. The music of Conway Twitty. And The Trashmen's Surfin' Bird, which I recently introduced my 8 year old to and he immediately found great delight in.
