Typically amygdala problems show up as an inability to recognize threats. USUALLY this produces psychotic behavior where the person is unable to interpret someone as non-threatening.
I guess it's possible damage could also suppress threat awareness? I don't know of lit on that tbh. I'd have to dig around...
