Came across the CNET article misappropriating the phrase 'stochastic parrots'. In the 2021 paper, we *describe* LLMs. We don't deride anything. I have plenty critical to say about how people use LLMs, but it doesn't make sense to say that I am deriding LLMs as a technology.
