lots of small nitpicks i have with the game playing on the hardest
the game is not designed to be played on the hardest at all. 99% of all enemies are insta-hitscan sprayers with no warning. Some enemies even have no intermittent cooldown between bursts. There's health and armor spread all over constantly.
its not a fun mechanics to peek corner 0.3 seconds to kill 1 special enemy, lose 50% of armor, run back 10 seconds to pick up previously saved armor.
the game is run-and-gun oriented clearly (oh dual wielding is so satisfying) but until you get specific weapon upgrades, certain enemies are an absolute mental chore to take care of.
stealth is quite fun, albeit super simple. Stealth on easiest and hardest i assume is with no change (dont know).
hit markers might aswell be nonexistant; i honestly could never tell if i was being hit. I might be 150|100 one second, and 10|0 the next, and i might not even notice until the next screen frame when i die "huuh?"
the lack of specialized SFX volume sliders really hits me, a lot of audio balance is very off. Music is at like 10% of rest of the game's volume, walking is louder than the boss music.
exploring maps is really fun
figuring out the stealth pattern was really fun (im sad i figured out half way through the game that stealth is much more lenient and forgiving than i assumed)
so many amazing set pieces
i loved bosses xept the final one
biggest gripe: two lewd straight sex scenes
biggest pleasure: whenever the cringe blonde sex pest nazi , who holds his upper teeth visible 97% of the game, is visible
definitely one of the few games i would 100% recommend not playing on the harder difficulties. this game was designed and intended to be played on medium or easy, as a violent fun power fantasy. (opinion)
setting the difficulty to "dont hurt me daddy :3" right before the final boss is the right choice i think (i did not do that and i regreted it)
