I would have thought that electromagnetic forces are only predominant for certain type of bonds, but now I question everything that I know about quantum mechanics... Is Schrödinger's equation, the law of electromagnetism but for quantum particles? Hamiltonians often contain electromagnetic interaction, so is that it?
