When I was 16, I worked in retail. The day after Thanksgiving, they would put on the Xmas music, which I *swear* couldn’t have been more than a single CD’s worth. Over the next month, I grew to strongly dislike certain songs - like Little Drummer Boy - after hearing them 8+ times per shift. The song I hated the most, though, was Last Christmas.
Fast forward to today. I live in Germany. Germans are obsessed with Last Christmas.
