Maybe the problem is countries in general. What is a country after all? It’s an area that is ruled by government. Pride in your country is nothing more than being proud of living under the rule of a specific government. Arguing that one country is better than another is no different from arguing that one slave master is better than another. It’s silly, you’re a slave either way.
