Being a weak man is the clearest path to evil that I have ever seen.

Weak men consistently manipulate situations and people around them to avoid facing the truth. They do it under the guise of morality and being the nice guy but it’s all just a patient monster waiting for the right time to get the deep physical satisfaction from power. They’re smart enough to know what it’s gonna take to feel that power and how surgical the strategy must be. Power that they’ve only withheld from themselves because they are afraid of the truth.

They need a group of people like them to help them exact their revenge. They talk behind backs and in the shadows with others consistently looking for the right time to test for allegiance to their moral high ground. They must get this from others and in a sly way. Their conversations are never face to face. They are behind backs and with themselves where they reinforce the thoughts that keep them from facing the truth.

Their revenge comes from their own completely voluntary fear of trying something different or taking the slightest risk.

This is the saddest part because it takes only a few minutes to face the truth and feel a sense of relief.

They loathe people that have taken risks to craft the life they wanted. It must be because of luck or some other reason than just hard work if those people end up becoming successful.

My advice is to always be humble enough to seek out people who will tell you when your shit doesn’t smell like rose pedals. They are the circle you want to build around. Not the people who never tell you the truth.

My favorite Bitcoin thinkers for example are the ones with creative ideas on how it could possibly fail. If you have a company and you get positive testimonials all the time, there is nothing actionable to do. Seek out negative feedback because it is actionable.

If you can’t admit when you are wrong or change your mind then you are putting a dangerous pillar of evil firmly in the ground. If you can’t think about your circle critically or influence truth telling within it then you’re already on a slippery slope that ends terribly.
