
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, the private office of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai organized the desert triathlon, which is the third stage of the Peace Cycling Championship, considered the largest of its kind in the world in terms of diversity and financial prizes. The competition was marked by the challenge and strong levels of the participating cyclists, and it is considered one of the unique events in the world through the two selected routes in the natural reserve of Dubai, namely the 'Sarouq Al Hadid' route for 52 km and the 'Al Oshosh' route for 57 km, as well as the challenge of the shortest time at the 'Iraqib Rashid' point. Amir bin Juma Al Falasi, Director General of the private office of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Higher Committee, attended the event.The participants showcased their skills and competitiveness in a unique blend of cycling, endurance, and natural challenges, adhering to safety standards by wearing helmets, special cycling glasses, and carrying water bottles, and relying on mountain bikes equipped with front and rear lights.The winners were crowned, with the Al Ahli Youth Team winning the top three places in the 57 km 'Al Oshosh' route, with Jerga Boul winning the first place, Koneliz Fermitfort in the second place, and Timo De Jong in the third place. In the team ranking, the Al Ahli Youth Team came first, followed by Airobic Racing in the second place, and the General Command of the Dubai Police and Foreign Affairs in the third place.In the 52 km 'Sarouq Al Hadid' route, Saed Ablous of the Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Nuaimi team won the first place, followed by Jaber Al Mansoori of the Al Ahli Youth Team, and Suleiman Munawar of the Yas team.
