The Christmas concert in 1989 in Zagreb on the main square. The concert that wasn't allowed but still happened. They couldn't stop what was coming - the war that would bring so much pain and tears, so much loss.
But we kept singing that Christmas, kept singing not knowing what will happen but feeling it somehow.
There were no Christmas decorations anywhere in the city. It was Yugoslavia and Christmas was banned.
