Although a small population of blacks existed in Nazi Germany and the Reich had a policy of "racial ambivalence," you still had to be white to join things like the Hitler Youth.
There's an interesting autobiography from a "Rhineland Bastard," (half black, half German) I read years ago where he talked about being absolutely heartbroken because he thought the Hitler Youth were awesome and they were like "you're cool but we can't let you join."
