I've been thinking about this a lot recently. My conclusion is you can have easy (SwiftUI) or have control (UIKit), and after experiencing both for enough time, I realize I place higher value on having control. It's ok if it takes me longer to write and is more tedious, if in return I have the control to fix issues that come up.
